History:

Molecular and Cell Biology Research Center (MCBRC) of Mazandran University of Medical Sciences was originally founded in 2008. The MCBRC is focused on acting in the fields of cell and molecular biology, genetics, molecular medicine, immunology, applied microbiology, and biotechnology. Our research activities have been emphasized in basic and clinical studies such as advancing in molecular diagnostic methods, cancer studies, detection of genetic factors associated with autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, gastroduodenal cancers, and infectious diseases, design and development of monoclonal antibodies in cancer. Our team also focuses on recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibody production. We have conducted a scientific veteran team committed to develop activities at MCBRC. This research center is well equipped to train postgraduate students such as Ph.D courses. The journal of Research in Molecular Medicine (RMM) is an academic journal (ISSN: 2322-1348) officially published by MCBRC.
